Lure Lakebar
One of the newer concepts that I helped develop was Lure Lakebar, in Alexandria Minnesota, 2019. This concept was built on the idea of bringing the coasts into a Midwest setting.
For this brand, we took Lake Le Hommie Du and turned it into a topographical map. From there, we pressed forward with a nautical and illustrative theme. We added playful elements like krakens and dive helmets and expanded this concept. Since this was designed as a casual lakeside restaurant, we kept the design clean and easy to read to go with the fresh feel of the items listed on the menu.
Coincidently, this property is located right across the street from the Zorbaz in Alexandria. With this in mind, we designed something that could stand apart from their low key neighbors across the street.

Bold type and simple colors round out the vision for this concept.
